Vegas StrEATS Food-truck Festival

El Cortez will host the Vegas StrEATs Food-truck Festival on the Jackie Gaughan Parkway from 6 pm to 2 am on Saturday, May 14. Vegas StrEATs will feature themed menu items at each food truck in May to coincide with Helldorado, which will be downtown through May 15. Each food truck will create a custom BBQ-themed dish exclusively for this Vegas StrEATs.
The event will also expand onto 6th Street in May to accommodate to increased demand from both street vendors and guests. Food trucks participating in the event include Slidin’ Thru, Muncheeze, Fukuburger, Sloppi Jo’s, Tasty Bunz, Haulin’ Ballz, Food Slingers, Snow Ono Shave Ice, Island Breeze, Cheesesteak Truck and more.
Presented by El Cortez, Slidin’ Thru and Insert Coin(s) VideoLounge Gamebar, Vegas StrEATs will bring food, live art and music to the Fremont East Entertainment District. Drink specials throughout the festival include $2 Bud and Bud Light draughts, $3 Jameson Irish Whiskey shots, $3 Jagermeister shots and $2 Pepsi products.
