Today is Free Day at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum

LVNHMuseumAdmission to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum is free today, Saturday December 12, 2009.   The museum is open until 4pm.

Displays include animals of the world (lots from Africa) and Nevada, plus marine life, geology, and dinosaurs.  Weekend Science classes will start at 11:15am, with a look at Nordic holiday traditions, including construction of a Yule Goat bound with red ribbons and straw, a popular Christmas ornament in Sweden.
