Silverton Announces Mosaic as New Headliner

Posted on 30 May 2011

Silverton Casino has formed a partnership with nationally acclaimed vocal group Mosaic. The group, well-known across the valley for their unique vocal collaborations, will headline in a multi-month engagement in the property’s recently renovated event space, Veil Pavilion.

Put the Rat Pack, Beck, Take 6, Bobby McFerrin and Rahzel in a blender and hit puree and that’s what Mosaic sounds like. The group is a five-man, multi-ethnic, vocal collaboration that is taking its purely vocal approach to the mainstream. Merging style with innovation, Mosaic will leave you scratching your head wondering where the “band” is being hidden. Every sound you hear is being produced by the human voice – from the guitar riffs and funky bass lines, to the ambient rhythms, to the complex chord textures. The group has shared the stage with numerous entertainers including Prince, Jay Leno, Marc Broussard, the Pussycat Dolls, Il Divo and Donny Osmond, among others. Mosaic, which has been seen on shows such as “America’s Got Talent” and CBS’ “The Early Show,” will perform on a monthly basis.

The first performance in this series will take place on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. with doors at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 plus tax and applicable fees. Guests must be 18 years or older. To purchase tickets, guests can call 866.866.6868 or visit www.silvertoncasino.com.
