Ride the Train on the Historic Tracks of 1931
Posted on 20 March 2009
Visit the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City and take an excursion train ride.
Excursion train rides depart from the Nevada Southern Railway Museum, Boulder City Depot and travel 7 miles along the revitalized historic Boulder Branch Line to Railroad Pass located within the River Mountain Range. The trip is approximately 45 minutes in duration.
Passengers ride in refurbished enclosed air-conditioned/heated Pullman Coaches, which date back to 1911. For the more adventurous passengers who wish to be closer to nature, there is also an open-air coach. For passengers who need assistance boarding the train, there is an ADA/Handicapped coach with a lift for wheelchairs or passengers needing additional assistance.
Trains depart from the Depot every Saturday and Sunday at: 10 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm, and 2:30 pm.
