Las Vegas Hot Air Balloon Festival

The Las Vegas Hot Air Balloon Festival will be held at Southern Hills Hospital campus from Friday, November 11 – Sunday, November 13, 2011. It’s free to attend and proceeds from rides will benefit Deaf Kid’s Funding.

- Friday, Nov. 11 – 6 a.m. Media Day: Hot air balloon flights for media/sponsors (general public viewing)
- Saturday, Nov. 12 – 6 a.m. “Mass Ascension” (balloon race) & Balloon Race Rides ($200/person) – starts at sunrise; 9 a.m. to noon
• Walk-in Hot Air Balloon (free) and community vendors
• Tethered Balloon Rides available for $5 donation/person (no reservations required)
7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (one evening event)
• Balloon “Glow” – Hot air balloons remain grounded and ignite their burners creating a stunning visual show
Sunday, Nov. 13
6 a.m. “Mass Ascension” (balloon race) & Balloon Race Rides ($200/person) – starts at sunrise
9 a.m. to noon
• Community vendors
