Las Vegas Birthday Deals

happbirthday.jpgSince today is my birthday, I’d like to share some birthday deals available in Las Vegas.

My favorite birthday freebie this year is the free dinner I enjoyed last night compliments of Benihana.

It’s a beautiful restaurant located in the Las Vegas Hilton.  I signed up for The Chef’s Table a couple months ago (free to join) and received a complimentary Benihana Birthday Dinner certificate via email about a week ago.  The certificate has a maximum value of $30 (excludes alcoholic beverages, gratuity and tax) and can be used towards any meal on the menu – no other purchase is necessary.  I enjoyed  the Seafood Diablo – Sea scallops, calamari, shrimp, assorted vegetables and Japanese udon noodles with a special homemade spicy sauce.  This entree came with onion soup, salad, a shrimp appetizer, hibachi vegetables, homemade dipping sauces, steamed rice and hot green tea.  My total bill was 80 cents.  So for the price of the tip, I enjoyed quite a nice birthday meal.

There are plenty of other dining deals to be had on or around your birthday.  Ice cream, Japanese, Italian, BBQ, Mexican, Burgers, Salad, Sushi, etc.   Many places require that you register in advance and/or have proof of your birthday with ID.  To see the ever growing list and to sign up, click here.

Beside the dining deals, here are a few other birthday freebies:

Free $25 table games bet on your birthday

Free Round of Golf for your Birthday (cart fee $20)

Free birthday gift from Sephora if you sign up for their email club newsletter (look at the bottom of the page to enter your email for special offers.)  Gifts may include Lip gloss,  a Beautiful Eyes Kit or a a Citrus Cleansing Gel.

Join the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas Privileges Club (click here for more info) and receive a birthday letter to claim some freebies from them as well.  Upon presentation of your letter at the redemption desk in Primm, you will receive a free tote bag, a voucher for 2 tickets for any show at the “V” Theater at Planet Hollywood valid for 6 months, and a bunch of savings coupons for stores in the mall.  The birthday letter also gives you $10 in free slot play at Terrible’s Primm Valley Casino.

Slot Club Birthday Promotions (unverified, so call ahead):

Fitzgeralds Casino – earn 1 point ($5 coin in on slots, $10 coin in on video poker) for 500-point gift ($5 value) within 14 days of birthday (either before or after.)

I wonder if you have to be there on your birthday, or if just during your birth month?

  • R says:

Each offer is different – but for most offers you have to been there either during your birthday month or within 2 weeks of receiving the offer.

My daughter and 4 friends are coming here for her 21st birthday – we want to know if any hotels would give a discount for a nice suite for the 23rd of Dec. – 1 night – then I guess I’ll book like a limo drive down the strip and back, but I want a really nice view suite for not a “zillion” dollars….Thanks for your help… Mom

Hope the changes at the Coast Casinos aren’t drastic. I played at Gold Coast and got 3x points on my birthday. Exchanged them for 2 meals and almost $100 cash.
