How to find shows at a discount: Goldstar

Posted on 12 January 2008

One resource I use frequently to find discount show tickets is Goldstar. It’s great for both locals and visitors to Las Vegas. One of the benefits of using Goldstar, is that you can buy your tickets in advance and not have to wait until the day of the show to see what’s available like many other discount services.

In order to see what shows are available, you have to be a member, but it’s FREE to join!

How does the service work? When you becomes a member of Goldstar, you indicate what kinds of events you’re interested in and where you like to go. Goldstar will then tell you about event offers that match your preferences. Members get a weekly email summary of events with special discount pricing, and if you also sign up for email alerts, you’ll get late-breaking event offers tailored to you.

Here are some of the shows currently available in Las Vegas at a discount through Goldstar:

  • Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular at The Venetian
  • Comedian Gordie Brown at The Venetian
  • Dinner and a Show: Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding Dinner Comedy
  • Penn & Teller: Famous Magic/Comedy Duo at the Rio
  • Chippendales, the World’s #1 Male Revue, at The Rio
  • America’s Tribute To Neil Diamond at the Riviera Hotel Las Vegas
  • Barbra and Frank: The Concert That Never Was at the Riviera Hotel
  • Mamma Mia!: Hit Musical to the Songs of ABBA
  • Monty Python’s Spamalot: Hilarious Quest Based on Classic Holy Grail Movie
  • Fab Four Mania – Tribute to The Beatles at The Sahara
