Get Your Tickets to Ethel M’s Chocolate Annual Holiday Cactus Lighting Event

Ethel M Chocolates invites the general public to experience the November 15th Cactus Lighting event by donating a new toy to a child in need. Recognized as the ultimate holiday destination in Southern Nevada, the 18th Annual Cactus Lighting will be hosted by funny man George Wallace, with holiday performances by Strip headliners Human Nature and Zowie Bowie.

Tickets are required to enter the November 15th event. Currently a limited amount of tickets are available at the Ethel M Chocolate factory in Henderson. Ethel M is asking guests to bring one new, unwrapped toy to the Ethel M factory in exchange for a family four-pack of tickets to the November 15th event (limit eight tickets per family). Toys that are collected from this event will later be donated in the annual KLUC Toy Drive. Toy drop-off will runs through Nov. 15 at the factory location only and tickets will be distributed on a first come-first served basis. Guests may also bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Cactus Lighting event in exchange for a family four-pack of tickets, while supplies last.

The 18^h Annual Cactus Lighting event will take place on Tuesday, November 15th from 5 – 8 p.m. at the three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden adjacent to the Ethel M Chocolate factory in Henderson. The countdown to the lighting of more than half a million colorful lights will take place at approximately 6 p.m. This annual Southern Nevada tradition is expected to attract thousands of festive chocolate lovers. In addition to the awe-inspiring cactus lighting, the event will feature photos with Santa, performances by local choirs, chocolate samples, raffles and more. Ethel M will sell hot chocolate and bottled water for $1 each, with all proceeds going to local charity, The Economic Opportunities Board of Southern Nevada.

Back by popular demand, visitors will be able to see the Holiday Cactus Garden in 3-D. Special glasses, available for purchase in the Ethel M store, will allow the attraction to come to life with special 3-D effects.

The Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden will open for the season on November 16, 2011 through January 1, 2012 and the public is always welcome at no charge. Additionally, visitors can peek in on the factory in full holiday swing, where Ethel M Chocolates are handcrafted using time-honored methods and only the finest ingredients.

The 16th Annual Cactus Lighting event will take place from 5 – 8 pm at the three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden adjacent to ethel’s chocolate factory in Henderson. The countdown to the lighting of more than half a million colorful lights will take place at approximately 6 pm. Santa will be present, eager to take children’s wishes and holiday entertainment will be provided throughout the evening including performances by some of Las Vegas ’ favorite entertainers alongside local school choirs singing holiday classics.
