Gary Reese Exhibit: State of Change at the Barrick Museum

Reese at the Marjorie Barrick Museum on the UNLV campus.  “State of Change” runs through Oct. 30, 2009 and there is a free Reception open to the public from 5-7 pm, Oct. 23.  Click here for a full description of the exhibit and event.

There’s a free parking lot and shuttle service on the UNLV campus.

Free Lot
The free parking lot on campus is Lot S (corner of Harmon and Swenson). No permit is required to park in this lot.

The Ride” Shuttle Service
“The Ride” shuttle is a free service open to all students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

  • All buses are air-conditioned for your comfort.
  • Buses are equipped with wheelchair lifts to assist handicapped riders.
  • Each bus carries 21 passengers.
  • “The Ride” is a joint effort by UNLV Parking & Transportation Services and CSUN.

Hours of Operation

  • 7 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday
  • Service is year-round, but on an abbreviated schedule during semester breaks.
  • Pick ups are scheduled approximately every 8 to 10 minutes. Schedules may vary slightly depending on weather and traffic conditions.

Routes and Schedules
There are multiple buses that service the Thomas & Mack Center lots, Lied Library, and the free lot.
