Free Youth Theatre Class: Improv in the Park

Come join SVC Youth Theatre for Improv in the Park. This workshop series (weekly on Monday, until September 1, 2011), which focuses on the 5 basic rules of improv and creating interesting (and usually humorous) improv, is designed for 4th – 8th grade students. Play a variety of improv games (expect a new game every week)! Meet every Monday evening at 6:30 pm at Acacia Park in the large gazebo by the walking bridge. The Gazebo is in the garden area (not the one by the dog park, but the other one). They will have a cooler full of icy cold water and when you’re done with improv, head on over to the splash pad to cool off. This workshop series is completely free, but a donation of a case of water would be great and for $12 you can get a troupe T-Shirt.
