Free Moonlight Walk Along the Historic Railroad Trail

The National Park Service presents a variety of guided hikes and programs throughout the year in Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

This Saturday, March 27th, join the Moonlight Hike along the Historic Railroad Trail (reservations required.) Learn the fascinating history of the railroad and of the men that built this cultural landmark. This is an easy 3-mile hike overlooking the waters of Lake Mead. Don’t forget your flashlight!

For more information and reservations, call the Lake Mead Visitor Center at (702) 293-8990 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Reservations are required on all hikes. Please leave your pets at home.

The Lake Mead Visitor Center, also called the Alan Bible Visitor Center, is located about four miles east of Boulder City, Nevada, at the junction of U.S. Highway 93 and Lakeshore Rd.
