Elvis sighting on the Las Vegas Strip

big_elvis.jpg Whodathunkit? An Elvis sighting on the Las Vegas Strip. Yes, it’s true and if you haven’t seen him yourself, you’re missing out on a very good entertainer and a great time. I have lived here in Las Vegas for nearly 2 1/2 years now and for the first time I saw “Big Elvis” perform in the lounge at Bill’s Gambling Hall and Saloon yesterday.

Pete “Big Elvis” Vallee has a great voice and in fact was voted the 2006 Best of Las Vegas Elvis Impersonator. He performs all the hits of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll plus other popular tunes spanning six decades. Big Elvis interacts with his audience, invites them to participate in his show and performs their requests. Pete may not be called “Big Elvis” for much longer though. In the past 2 1/2 years he has lost over 500 pounds and he’s on his way to losing 175 more.

You can (and should) catch his free 1 hour show Monday through Fri at 3, 5 & 6:30 pm. This Monday, January 7th – he will perform at a special time: 12-4 pm.
