Doggone Silly @ the Harmon Theatre at Krave

Posted on 14 December 2007

doggonesilly1.jpgI saw the Doggone Silly show in the Harmon Theatre at Krave (adjacent to Planet Hollywood) today free courtesy of Show Tickets 4 Locals. I wasn’t expecting anything special and actually just went to the show because a couple friends invited me. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the performance.

The trainer, JR Johns, shares the stage with his 14 rescued dogs. There are several sketches. In one act, he jump ropes with one dog and lets another do barrel rolls on his back as he somersaults. It’s certainly not every day you get to see a dog walking a dog — upright on its hind legs, with leash and all.

The four segments of the show are separated by videos of Johns at home with his menagerie and comic yo-yo tricks from the energetic, Spike McGuire.

The show is especially great for families. You can’t go wrong taking children and dog lovers of all ages to see it.
