CIRCUS VARGAS, America’s Favorite Big Top Circus, is back by popular demand in a special encore presentation at the Galleria at Sunset in Henderson January 20-24! Nevada residents have a second chance to experience the spectacular extravaganza under the beautiful blue and gold Big Top tent, featuring a variety of talented performers with exciting acts from all over the world. Hosted by Ringmaster Ted McRae, Circus Vargas is animal free and includes a mesmerizing hula-hoop production, an enchanting aerial bungee-ballet, a wildly electrifying motorcycle performance, hilarious clown antics, the NEW generation of the Flying Tabares, plus much, much more!
Thirty minutes before show time, fans will get an exciting pre-show peek into the world of Circus Vargas, hosted by reality TV personality, Jon Weiss, from the CBS show The Amazing Race! Prior to every show, Jon will be front and
center welcoming the audience and inviting children to take a “center stage” look at life under the Big Top! Everyone is encouraged to participate in the pre-show action, and to join Jon as he guides them on a quick crash course in circus skill and stamina!

Circus Vargas to Give Free Tickets to Unemployed! As Circus Vargas kicks off the New Year in Nevada, where local residents continue to struggle in the down economy, it will continue its policy of entertaining those in need by allowing the families of the unemployed to see the show for free.
The unemployment program offered by Circus Vargas allows two adults and two children to be admitted to any weekday performance. Free tickets can be received on the day of the show from the Circus Vargas Box Office. To receive the tickets, patrons should bring their layoff notice from their job or a stub from their unemployment check to demonstrate that they are unemployed about an hour before show time.
“The economy has hurt so many people lately and has affected our business as well,” said Circus Vargas President Nelson Quiroga. “As a family show, we are very sensitive to economic situation and how it affects the local communities. We know that many people can’t afford to take their families for entertainment like Circus Vargas so we want to help them when they need help the most.” It is extra special for the Quiroga’s to extend this offer to Nevada residents because Las Vegas has been their home for the last 20 years.
Circus Vargas has been allowing the unemployed to come in for free since the economic downturn hit in 2008. In 2010 alone, it was happy to have over 10,000 people take advantage of this program and looks forward to continue entertaining those families that have been so deeply affected by the recession in 2011.

This all sound very great but I have been out of work so long and I don’t have lay off papers or other documentation to prove it. I had to leave my last job due to medical issues and since I would be fired anyhow I just resigned. I guess now that I should have let them fire me so I would have documentation about it.
I am disabled…parapligic and would like to know about tickets and seating for me there.
