Christmas Walk at the District Through Dec 24th

Through Thursday, December 24, 2009, the outdoor setting of The District at Green Valley Ranch provides a unique, festive atmosphere for shopping, dining, entertainment and meeting Santa.
This year, The District introduces Christmas Walk - A Joyful Holiday Celebration, featuring photos with Santa, complimentary horse & carriage rides, live holiday music, and Christmas tree light shows.
Santa Claus comes to the District Fridays 4 – 8 pm, Saturdays 10 am – 5 pm, and Sundays 12 – 5 pm. The jolly man in red can be found at The District during Christmas Walk to meet and take photos with kids, families and even the k-9 kids! There will be a variety of photo packages available to choose from. Santa will be located at The Courtyard on Main Street, adjacent to the new Christmas tree.
The District’s Christmas Tree Light Show – The spectacular new Christmas tree towers more than 50 feet over the center of Main Street. The tree features 14,400 moving LED lights that magically dance to holiday music. The tree will “perform” at various times every evening, starting in the 5 pm hour until 9 pm, November 27 thru December 24.
Complimentary Horse & Carriage Rides on Main Street Saturdays and Sundays from 12 -4 pm. Enjoy the ambience of the holidays at The District with complimentary horse & carriage rides along The District’s Main Street. Beginning November 28 thru December 20.
Holiday Music on Main Street - The joyous sounds of the season can be heard from the main stage throughout the holidays, as The District welcomes area performers from local community schools, churches, and performance groups, as well as professional musicians.
