Boulder City’s 63rd Annual 4th of July Damboree Celebration

This annual event will feature a pancake breakfast at 7 am in Bicentennial Park; a parade at 9 am beginning at Colorado and going down Nevada Highway; Damboree ceremonies and midway booths at Broadbent Park beginning at 10 am; festivities from 6 to 11 pm at Veteran’s Memorial Park; and fireworks at Veteran’s Memorial Park at 9 pm. Primm Valley Casino Resorts will display the ultimate fireworks show at 9:30 pm.

The City of Henderson will celebrate our country’s independence with their Annual 4^th of July Celebration. This year’s fireworks will be set off at Heritage Park, with the viewing area being Basic High School Football Field.  Entertainment begins at 6pm with the Randy Anderson Band and at 7:30pm Downstrokes , fireworks at 9pm.  Concessions include Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Sno-Cones, and Ice Cream.  Click here for more information.

Station Casinos says it will present the “largest 4th of July fireworks show in Southern Nevada” this year. The nine-minute show will begin at 8:45 p.m. on Independence Day, and will emanate from Aliante Station, Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho, Red Rock, and Green Valley Ranch. Five local radio stations will broadcast the Station Casino “fireworks” soundtrack (listed below). So if you’re near a radio at 9pm on Monday, enhance your experience by tuning into:

Station Casino’s 4th of July Blast

Five Station Casinos’ properties will host the largest 4th of July fireworks show in Southern Nevada on Sunday, July 4 around 8:45 pm.  The nine-minute fireworks show, named “Station Casinos’ 4th of July Blast” will be featured at Aliante Station, Green Valley Ranch resort, Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station as a shared location and Red Rock Resort.

The following are recommended viewing areas:
• Aliante Station — Hotel valet/parking lot area
• Fiesta Rancho — Parking garage rooftop
• Green Valley Ranch — Backyard pool area
• Red Rock Resort — Pool area and amphitheatre
• Texas Station — Parking Lot C off Rancho entrance

Henderson’s Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Henderson’s Fourth of July celebration will be a star-spangled evening with a variety of family-friendly events, live entertainment and a fabulous fireworks show from 6  to 9 pm. at the Basic High School football field, 400 N. Palo Verde Drive. Fireworks will begin at 9 pm. Admission is FREE. Some activities may require paid admission.

Attendees will enjoy two stages of live music with performances by Blonde Sided; country music entertainer, Randy Anderson; and the Henderson Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, families will be entertained by an assortment of fun activities including a dunk tank, bounce houses and more. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Morrell Park and Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris Street; Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 Racetrack Road; and the church parking lot, 1002 Burkholder Boulevard, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Only handicap parking will be available at Basic High School.

Glass containers, fireworks, barbeques, alcohol and weapons are prohibited.

Boulder City’s 62nd Annual 4th of July Damboree Celebration

The annual Boulder City 4th of July Damboree begins on Saturday July 3rd at 7 am with a Rotary Pancake Breakfast at Bicentennial Park. A parade starts at 9 am at Colorado, goes down Nevada Highway and ends at Broadbent Memorial Park where there is entertainment, food and games through the evening.  On Sunday the festivities and entertainment move to Veterans Memorial Park and the fireworks are at 9 pm.  Click here for full schedule.

Primm Valley 4th of July Celebration

This Saturday’s free “Jazz on the Lake” concert at MonteLago Village Resort at Lake Las Vegas will feature Brothers Ali (Motown) from 7 to 10 pm.

Each Friday evening a selection of pop, rock, soul, country or classic rock live music will be performed in The Village on the lawn lakeside. Every Saturday, jazz will be the genre. Bring your friends and make a memorable evening. Blankets and chairs are welcome, but no coolers.

At 8:30 pm., July 4th, members of the public are encouraged to head to the Miracle Mile Shops’ southern Las Vegas Boulevard entrance (by Hawaiian Tropic Zone) to witness a “Death Drop” escape performed by Daredevil Magician Steve Wyrick.

In celebration of Club Tattoo’s grand opening inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, daredevil magician Steve Wyrick will perform a terrifying “Death Drop” escape featuring Chester Bennington, co-owner of Club Tattoo and Linkin Park frontman. Bennington, assisted by members of his new side project Dead by Sunrise, will lock and shackle Wyrick into one of the band’s equipment boxes.  Connected to a crane by only a few thin ropes, the box will be dangled over a bed of 500 flaming spikes 80 feet below.  The ropes will then be set on fire, forcing Wyrick to make his escape before the last rope breaks and sends him plummeting to a fiery death.  Wyrick will have to jump 20 feet off a burning box to a safety rope and rappel down while avoiding the spikes and tremendous heat.  This type of escape has never been attempted by an illusionist anywhere in the world. Afterwards, turn around and look up — fireworks this evening take place across Las Vegas skies!  This is a free event.

Station Casino’s 4th of July Blast

Station Casino’s will feature fireworks at nine of their properties: Red Rock. Green Valley Ranch, Boulder Station, Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho, Fiesta Henderson, Aliante Station, Santa Fe Station and Sunset Station.  The nine-minute show is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. and has been choreographed to a variety of music paying tribute to America and the fun spirit of Las Vegas.  You can catch the simulcast live on several radio stations including KSNE Sunny 106.5 FM, KWNR New Country 95.5 FM, KWID La Preciosa 101.9 FM, KPLV The Party 93.1 FM, KOMP The Rock Station 92.3 FM, KWWN ESPN 1100 AM, KXPT The Point 97.1 FM, KBAD Fox Sports 920 AM and KENO ESPN Deportes 1460 AM.

Freedom Fireworks Extravaganza at M Resort

An old-fashioned food fair will offer carnival-like food stands where popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, soda and water will be available for purchase. The food fair begins at 7 pm. Admission is free. The Villaggio and Pool Bars also will remain open for alcohol purchases.  The fireworks show is scheduled to begin at 9:15 pm and will last 15 minutes.

Downtown Henderson Independence Day Celebrations

Attendees will enjoy three stages of live music by the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, country music entertainer Randy Anderson and more. Additionally, families will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of food and beverage options while the children are entertained by an assortment of fun activities including a rock wall, dunk tank, bounce house and more.

Event starts at 6 pm at the Henderson Water Street District. Fireworks will be shot from the top of City Hall. This event is free. There is free parking at the Henderson City Garage on Basic Road, Downtown Recreation Center on Basis Road and the Henderson Events Plaza.  Some activities may require paid admission. Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Morrell Park, located at 500 Harris Street, beginning at 5 pm. Only handicap parking will be available on-site.

The annual Boulder City 4th of July Damboree begins at 7 am with a Rotary Pancake Breakfast at Bicentennial Park. A parade starts at 9 am at Colorado, goes down Nevada Highway and ends at Broadbent Memorial Park where there is entertainment, food and games until 6 pm.  At 6 pm, the entertainment moves to Veterans Memorial Park with fireworks at 9 pm.

Primm Valley 4th of July Celebration

Primm Valley Casino Resorts is offering live entertainment; free all-day attraction passes for Nevada residents good for the Adventure Canyon Log Flume, Turbo Drop and Desperado Roller Coaster at Buffalo Bill’s; a pool party with a DJ, $2 drink specials, face painters, fake tattoo artists, a bean bag toss for the kids and a fireworks show at 9:45 pm. Primm is located 25 minutes south of Las Vegas on I-15.

Fun for the whole family- The Village will be alive with a DJ, face painting, games and fun contests for children including a coloring contest and cupcake eating contest. A free performance by the JV All-Starz will start at 4 pm and fireworks will go off at 9 pm. The Village at Lake Las Vegas is the perfect place to celebrate!

Independence Day weekend at Fremont Street Experience is themed the “American Pie 4th of July.”  It celebrate’s Viva Vision show, “Don McLean’s American Pie.”  Headline concerts will feature Janis Joplin’s Original Band Big Brother & The Holding Company on Friday, July 3 and The Grass Roots on Saturday, July 4. The evening of the 4th of July will also showcase a brilliant virtual fireworks show on the Viva Vision canopy.

The city of Henderson hosts free Independence Day Celebrations at two locations:

Downtown Henderson Fourth of July fireworks & Celebration
The Henderson Events Plaza and surrounding area will be celebrating in the Water Street District, along Water Street between Army and Basic, and Atlantic Avenue from Water to Lead from 6-9pm.

Enjoy two stages of entertainment, one in the Henderson Events Plaza on the Amphitheater Stage and one on the Convention Center Lawn Stage.

The Events Plaza Amphitheatre Stage will feature Beatles tribute band, the Fab from 6 – 8 pm and the Henderson Civic Orchestra from 8:15 – 9:15 pm.

The Convention Center Lawn Stage will feature Randy Anderson from 6- 7:30 pm and Emily West from 8 – 9 pm.

The evening will end with fireworks shot off the top of City Hall.

Shuttle service will be available from Morrell Park at 500 Harris Street to Water Street.

Anthem Hills Park 4th of July Celebration
The City of Henderson will celebrate Independence Day at Anthem Hills Park. The Park will open at 6 pm with the event begining at 7 pm. The entertainment will be provided by Oasis Jazz. Following the entertainment will be the traditional fireworks.

Glass Containers, BBQ’s and Personal Fireworks will NOT be permitted in the park. Handicap parking ONLY on site. Shuttle service from Coronado High School at 1001 Coronado Center Drive will be available.

So far it looks like Caesars Palace and the Las Vegas Hilton will have fireworks displays on the 4th beginning at 9:30 pm.

Fremont Street Experience is hosting a Patriotic “American Pie 4th of July” Weekend July 3-5th

“Don McLean’s American Pie” premieres on the Viva Vision light and sound show with a weekend-long 4th of July celebration free to the public, 4 pm-midnight July 3-5 in downtown Las Vegas.

The world premiere showing of “Don McLean’s American Pie” Viva Vision show will open to the public on Thursday, July 3 at 9 pm, including an opening ceremony hosted by Nellis Air Force Base’s Honor Guard and a live performance of the National Anthem.

“American Pie” reached number one on the US Billboard magazine charts for four weeks in 1971, and remains McLean’s most successful single release. It is also the longest song to reach #1 with a running time of 8:36. McLean worked with Fremont Street Experience, providing footage and images for the Viva Vision show.

The Viva Vision schedule for all three nights include shows “American Freedom” at 8:30 and 12 midnight, “Don McLean’s American Pie” at 9 and 11 pm and “A Tribute to Queen” at 10 pm. “A Tribute to Queen” is also a new Viva Vision light and sound show that premiered in April.

Additionally, visual fireworks and patriotic images – set to some of America’s favorite songs – will be shown overhead on Viva Vision throughout the evening, Thursday-Saturday.

Live bands will also be a part of the three-day entertainment line-up performing on both the 1st and 3rd Street stages, July 3-5:

Downtown Las Vegas hotel-casinos Binion’s, Fitzgeralds, Four Queens, Fremont, Golden Gate, Golden Nugget and Vegas Club will be selling 4th of July barbecue favorites from hamburgers and hot dogs to potato salad from 4 pm to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday at several outdoor food cafes on Fremont Street Experience. Each food station will also be accompanied by a bar offering a variety of sodas, beers, cocktails and specialty drinks.

“Don McLean’s American Pie” and three nights of entertainment and food on Fremont Street Experience will be the perfect place for everyone to come celebrate our nation’s birthday.

The City of North Las Vegas is holding their 9th Annual Independence Day Jubilee celebration on Thursday, July 3, at James Seastrand Park. The fun begins at 6 pm and the sparks start flying at 9:30 pm.

The event will feature food, entertainment, and a state-of-the-art fireworks show provided by Pyrotecnico. Free children’s activities include an obstacle course, face painting and bunny bucket rides. Live music will be provided by local favorite, Yellow Brick Road.

Food and beverages will be available from Martino’s Grill, Tommy Boy Sausage, Panda Express, Off The Hook BBQ, I-Vend LV, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Penny D’s, Quality Food Service, and Mana’s Catering.

Admission is free. Attendees are welcome to bring picnic baskets, coolers, lawn chairs, and blankets to the event. Alcohol, glass bottles, barbecues, pets, tents, large umbrellas, bicycles, and skateboards are prohibited.
