Saturday, May 26, 2012, at 8 pm, Texas Station is hosting, E’Casanova – Michael Jackson Tribute.

A veteran of the entertainment business, E’Casanova has established himself as one of the world’s top Michael Jackson tribute artists, performing in top venues around the world. His likeness is so similar to the “King of Pop” that he not only appeared on an episode of “PUNK’D” on MTV, but appeared as Michael Jackson’s photo double in the “Who Is It” movie. In 2007, E’Casanova was invited to perform in Japan at a prestigious VIP party in honor or Michael Jackson, marking the first time Jackson himself saw Cas perform in his likeness. A singer, songwriter, actor and producer in his own right, E’Casanova has appeared in several production shows, including “Legends in Concert” in Las Vegas and Hawaii.

This is an all ages show; those under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Friday, April 20, 2012, at 8 pm, Texas Station is hosting, the debut of Queen of the Night – Whitney Houston Tribute starring Trina Johnson Finn.

Considered a “throw back” from the old days of classic Hollywood,  Trina Johnson Finn has a long list of television, film and stage credits to her name, including The Grammy’s, MTV Music Video Awards, “Anchorman,” “Bringing Down the House,” “Dreamgirls” and “Jesus Christ Superstar,” among others.  One of the world’s best tribute artists, Johnson Finn performs hits from artists including Tina Turner, Diana Ross and the late Whitney Houston.

Queen of the Night is a 90-minute live entertainment show that brings the top selling hits of the late Whitney Houston to the stage. Set at the Dallas Events Center at Texas Station as part of its Texas Tribute series, Queen of the Night transports the essence of Whitney Houston to the stage for a night of exhilarating and gripping performances. The Dallas Events Center ballroom will transform into Queen of the Night party central, showcasing fan-favorite songs from Whitney Houston’s past albums along with snappy dialogue providing personal insight behind each song.

The Club at Cannery Casino & Hotel will present The Detroit Allstars: Direct from Motown on Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21 at 8 p.m.  Featuring Michael Sanders and Michael Brock, lead singer with The Dramatics, the spirit of Motown lives on with The Detroit Allstars who will have the audience boogieing to hits by Motown legends Smokey Robinson, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye and more.  Admission is $10 at the door.

The Detroit Allstars is a special group and made up of band members who also work in a profession that better serves their community.  The band consists of vocalist Michael Brock, a drug and alcohol counselor and lead singer with the Dramatics; vocalist Michael Sanders, sergeant of domestic violence and 30 year veteran; bassist Robert Joiner, precinct 10 community relations officer and 25 year veteran; drummer Roderick Brown, felony apprehension officer and 13 year veteran; and guitarist Aaron Willis, a professional guitar player.

The Detroit Allstars specialize in many different types of music including Motown, Jazz, and Top 40.  They have opened for national headliners Bill Cosby, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin, and Earth Wind and Fire. The Detroit Allstars have performed in many casinos around the country and are guaranteed to be a genuine crowd pleaser.
