With more than 20 number one hits to his name, Regie Hamm is one of the music industry’s most successful song writers. In 2008, Hamm penned the song, “Time Of My Life,” which became the finale song and first single for “American Idol” winner, David Cook. The single received platinum certification and stayed at number one on the Adult Contemporary charts for four months. Hamm has received several songwriting awards and has written for a long list of artists, including Clay Aiken and Lonestar. Hamm’s debut album, Set It on Fire, was released in 2010.

After a brief career in ministry, Brian White broke onto the Christian music scene, writing songs for artists including, Point of Grace, Brian Littrell and Cliff Richard, among others. After recording five albums with his own band, Brian White and Justice, White expanded his songwriting to country music. To date, White has written for several of country music’s top stars, including Trace Adkins, Neal McCoy, Earl Scruggs and Charley Pride. White has 13 number one songs to his name, including Rodney Atkins’ “Watching You,” which became the “Most played country song of 2007” and received a “Song of the Year” nomination at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2008.

Quinn’s Irish Pub at Green Valley Ranch has launched its first pub menu, serving up lunch and dinner every day of the
week. The menu boasts unique twists on hearty, traditional Irish and English pub dishes.

The focus of the menu is to offer a variety of food options at an affordable price, with all items $8 or less. Traditional dishes include Bangers and Mash and Sheppard’s Pie. The more unique items that spice up the menu include Irish Egg Rolls, featuring corned beef, sautéed cabbage and spicy brown mustard dipping sauce; and Irish Pizza Skins, made from homemade pizza dough filled with a traditional Irish potato preparation called colcannon consisting of mashed potatoes, leeks and cabbage, then topped with corned beef for added taste.

The menu also suggests beer pairings for each dish and all pints are paired and available for $3 or $4. Suggested pairings include a Smithwick’s Ale with the Sheppard’s Pie, where the malty and bitter flavor with a hint of caramel combine to provide a refreshing and clean brew, complementing the hearty stew. Another great pairing is the Scotch Eggs with the Murphy Stout, as the smooth and creamy stout with a slightly roasted flavor balances out the spiciness in the sausage and the mustard horseradish dipping sauce.

Nine different choices of whiskey are available as well with a variety of Jameson’s as well as a Red Breast Irish Whiskey, among others.

Quinn’s is all about good tunes and now good food. The pub puts any pretenses aside and offers all food in casual to-go containers with plastic
silverware. It’s perfect for taking a snack with you at the end of your evening or passing around the table to share with new friends and bar mates. Guests can order from the menu at the bar or from their cocktail server.

In addition to great food and drink, guests can enjoy a variety of live entertainment, including pub trivia on Tuesdays, Karate Karaoke on
Wednesdays, ’Nuff Said on Fridays and Darby O’Gill and The Little People performing live Thursdays and Saturdays.

Aptly called Nashville Unplugged, this show is based on the concept of getting to know what’s behind the song, similar to the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville .

Each show features a songwriter who goes through the process of what went into writing a particular song and then performs it at the show.

The show is hosted by singer/songwriters Brian McComas who wrote and sang “99.9% Sure (I’ve Never Been Here Before)” and Aaron Benward of Blue County who wrote and sang “Good Little Girls.” Another fun aspect of Nashville Unplugged is “Songs from a Hat” where guests that arrive between 7:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. can make up a title to a song and place the suggestion in a hat. The songwriters will pick one title from that hat and then pen a song throughout the course of the evening, to be performed at the end. Must be 21+.
