The collection of non-restored historic signs are kept outdoors on a 3 acre site in Las Vegas. The signs have been donated or loaned by individuals, businesses and sign companies.

I went on this tour a couple years ago and found it very interesting. I learned a lot about the history of many hotels that have come and gone.

The entrance is on McWilliams Avenue near the historic La Concha Motel Lobby. Parking available behind the Reed Whipple Center at 821 Las Vegas Blvd North, 89101.

When you are finished with the Boneyard Tour, you may want to check out more refurbished signs downtown on a self-guided walking tour. These refurbished signs are available for viewing 24 hours a day 7 days a week, but, of course, are best viewed after dark. The first group of signs can be found near the intersection of Fremont Street Experience and Las Vegas Boulevard and consist of:

The Horse and Rider from the old Hacienda Hotel (Las Vegas Blvd & Fremont St )

Aladdin’s Lamp from the old Aladdin Hotel (northwest corner of Fremont St & Las Vegas Blvd)

The Flame Restaurant sign (southwest corner of Fremont St & Las Vegas Blvd)
