It looks like the only place to see fireworks this New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas is going to be on the Las Vegas Strip.

America’s Party 2012: The Las Vegas Strip closes to traffic around 6pm and fireworks will be launched at midnight from the top of Tropicana, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood Resort, Caesar’s Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian, Stratosphere and ARIA.

As a culmination to a full year of planning, Fireworks by Grucci has coordinated an 8 minute, 36 second program consisting of over 56,000 effects that will light up the Las Vegas Strip.  Fireworks and music will be in sync.

The soundtrack accompanying the fireworks will feature the Sal Soul Orchestra, LMFAO, Lady Gaga, Ne-Yo, Afrojack, Nayer, and Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, Adele, and a finale from ZZ Top’s version of “Viva Las Vegas”.  You can catch the music live on local FM stations KOMP 92.3 and KXPT 97.1.  Both radio stations can be streamed live online.

America’s Party has become one of the most anticipated events of the year, and this year the display is aptly themed as “Dance: Las Vegas.”

Celebrate New Year’s at Fremont Street Experience.  Rock in the New Year with Concerts All Weekend.

Skip the NYE crowd. Enjoy free entertainment on Fremont Street during the rehearsal night for NYE 2012, on Friday, December 30, 2011 and Sunday, January 1, 2012, from 6pm-3am. Bands include tribute artists for INXS, Blondie, Van Halen, U2, Rolling Stones, AC/DC and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Then, on Saturday, the ultimate street party with nonstop entertainment has been set for Fremont Street Experience’s New Year’s Eve celebration with the 4th Annual TributePalooza. From 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. the spectacular New Year’s Eve bash will showcase two featured bands, Steel Panther and Rock Sugar, plus great music from 10 incredible and authentic tribute bands performing throughout the evening.

TributePalooza will also include a 2011 year-in-review retrospective on the Viva Vision screen, a midnight countdown led by Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and an epic Fireworks by Grucci produced fireworks show synchronized with virtual fireworks on Viva Vision that is part of the citywide celebration, “America’s Party: Las Vegas New Year 2012.”

On New Year’s Eve, admission to TributePalooza is just $30 per person and marks the only time of year when Fremont Street Experience has paid, ticketed admission. Steel Panther is a glam metal band from Los Angeles, Calif. and are known for their profane and humorous lyrics as well as their exaggerated on-stage personas. Formed in 2000, the band was also known as Danger Kitty, Metal Shop and Metal Skool. Steel Panther succeeded in becoming one of the most popular tribute band in Calif., even winning a contest of “Best Tribute Band in the Universe.” Thanks to the increased popularity, their live shows began to be attended by a growing number of fans. Many celebrities have also appeared on stage during their concerts, including Dane Cook, Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Tom Morello, Scott Ian, Tony Romo, Paul Stanley and many more.

Rock Sugar is a Los Angeles based band known for their mash-ups of pop music and hair metal from the 1980s. The band claims that the sound was achieved when the metal band was stranded on a desert island in 1989 with a CD player, plenty of batteries and the CD collection of a 13 year-old girl. Their mission is to mash-up just about every band of the eighties and nineties into one big mega-mix of classic rock goodness. If you like Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” they have them together in one song, “Don’t Stop the Sandman.” How about Queen with Motely Crue in “We Will Kick Start your Rhapsody.”

Wanted is an incredible replication of the music of Bon Jovi that was created with one purpose in mind, to have a fun concert environment. The band is based in Los Angeles and is comprised of professional musicians who embody the style, vibe and atmosphere of a live Bon Jovi show that plays to rave reviews and sold out venues.

L.A.vation is a Los Angeles, Calif. based U2 Tribute band that accurately executes the music and look of a U2 concert. L.A. Vation derives its name from the song “Elevation,” the third single released from U2 2000 album, All That You Can’t Leave Behind.

Fan Halen brings back the party-time, hard-rocking music of classic Van Halen with a true-to-life tribute to not only the band but the spirit of the era. Fan Halen sets the stage for a night with Dave, Eddie, Alex and Michael in a transformation that has been described as amazingly authentic.

Blasphemous Rumours is an internationally known tribute band that brings their powerful note-for-note renditions of Depeche Mode’s hits to each and every performance. Based in Los Angeles, Blasphemous Rumours was selected as the headline entertainment for the International Depeche Mode Convention in June of 2007. The band’s uncanny resemblance in look and vocals to the real members of Depeche Mode combined with a full dance performance and light show makes Blasphemous Rumours an incredible, high-energy tribute show that is not to be missed.

No-Duh mixes the experience and energy of a live No Doubt and Gwen Stefani concert with nostalgic visuals, styling’s and props of the original band, complete with costume changes for a complete high-energy, audio-visual experience.

INXSIVE is fronted by Australian native Brett Creswell, who gives the audience an authentic, live interpretation of one of the best loved front men of the 80′s, Michael Hutchence. Other band members are highly skilled, professional musicians that painstakingly recreate the sound that made INXS such an enormous success.

Led Zepagain takes their audience to a place that not only replicates a Led Zeppelin concert, but also captures the heart and soul of the world’s greatest band. A Led Zepagain show features all of the Zeppelin highlights, from the high-energy electric classics, to the beautiful acoustic works. Red Not Chili Peppers are one of California’s best Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute bands. They have a strong fervor for Red Hot Chili Peppers music and have the ability to get the party rolling at their concerts. The 25th Annual Downtown Hoedown begins 12 Days of Country on Fremont Street Experience. To coincide with the National Finals rodeo, FSE will have additional nightly free concerts Dec. 1-11 featuring Dean Simmons as Garth Brooks, Exile, Jimmy Ray’s Johnny Cash Tribute, Voodoo Cowboys, Ryan Whyte Maloney Band, Route 66 and Fairchild.

Craig Morgan
Craig Morgan is a country superstar with fourteen top 10 hits including fan favorites “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Almost Home,” “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” and “Tough.” Morgan is a diligent singer and renowned song-writer who plays over 120 live shows annually including touring with Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes, Brad Paisley and more. On November 1st, Morgan is preparing to release his self-produced extended play (EP) titled, This Ole Boy. This highly anticipated EP features new songs reflecting about his life experiences and music career and illustrates that his songwriting is still one of the best in business. In addition to his musical career, Morgan is also a successful television host on the Outdoor Channel’s “Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors.” His first season run, quickly became the network’s #1 Saturday morning hunting show.

Hunter Hayes
At only 20 years old, Hunter Hayes is already an accomplished songwriter, producer and musician who can sing and play with the best, and does. Concluding his tour with country star Taylor Swift, Hayes’s next move is a 2012 tour alongside with Rascal Flatts and Sara Evans. Adding to his credentials, Hayes co-wrote the song, “Play” for Rascal Flatts’ Nothing Like This album and contributed to 2011 remake of Footloose performing a duet with actress/singer Victoria Justice for “Almost Paradise.” This multi-talented musician recently released his self-named album in October 2011, which hit the Top 10 Billboard Top Country Albums, and features his hit song, “Storm Warning.” Hayes writes about life and love from a refreshing point of view, performs with the grace of someone twice his age and most importantly is spiritually grounded with the American values of God, family and country.

Glen Templeton
Glen Templeton is a Southern-born, Southern-bred musician-songwriter and one of country music’s most promising up and coming stars. Templeton claims he never chose country music, country music chose him. Throughout all his other jobs, country music kept calling his name to move to Nashville and pursue music career. His claim to fame started in 2008 when Conway Twitty’s daughters hand picked him to portray Conway, the lead role, in the touring musical production, Conway Twitty: The Man, The Music, The Legend. Since then, Templeton has played at several country music events including performance on CMT, The Grand Ole Opry, The ACM’s All-Star Jam, Country Jam USA, Cheyenne Frontier Days and numerous state fairs and festivals. His likes, looks, and talent have captured the attention of Black River Music Group. Templeton released his first single “I Could Be the One” earlier this year which has debuted at number 58 in the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Song chart. Glen Templeton’s voice is described as one with a rich traditional country with a hint of rock and R&B. His album entitled, GT, is soon to be released later this year.

Lee Brice
With musical influence ranging from Garth Brooks and Hank Junior to Coldplay and 3 Doors Down, Lee Brice fuses tradition honkey tonk with contemporary rock n’ roll for a “country all the way” sound that is uniquely his own. Brice has released one album and 4 singles. The fourth single, “Love Like Crazy” Declared as the #1 country song of 2010 by Billboard Magazine, and currently holds the record for the Longest Charting Single in the history of the Billboard Hot Country Song chart. Brice recently released a new hit single earlier in September titled, “A Woman Like You.” Shortly after the release he was named NRA Country Artist of the Month. In addition to his vocal success, Lee Brice is credited to have co-written singles for super stars Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and Adam Gregory. Currently, Brice is finishing up his tour with the 10th Annual CMT on Tour starring Luke Bryan and Josh Thompson.

LoCash Cowboys
The LoCash Cowboys consists of a country music duo including Chris Lucas and Preston Burst. Add to that Jeffrey Steele, one of Nashville’s biggest names in songwriting (“The Cowboy In Me,” “What Hurts The Most,” “My Town”) and producing (Montgomery Gentry, Keith Anderson), and you have a trio of talent and energy that is the LoCash Cowboys. Currently touring the southeast US, both country superstars developed one of the most dynamic live shows that any genre has to offer with their energetic stage presence and vocal capabilities. Their debut album, This Is How We Do It, is a fitting introduction to a compellingly charismatic duo and includes hit singles such as “Here Comes Summer,” “Keep in Mind,” and “You Got Me.” These honky-tonk style Cowboys are also credited as co-writing Keith Urban’s 2011 single, “You Gonna Fly.”

Exile
Exile is a former rock turned country music band best remembered for their 1978 number one smash hit single, “Kiss You All Over” which has been featured in films such as Happy Gilmore and Employee of the Month. The current members consist of original members J.P. Pennington and Les Taylor along with Sonny LeMaire, Marlon Hargis, and Steve Goetzman. With a successful career spanning over 48 years, they have produced more than 10 number one hit singles including, “Woke Up in Love” “I Don’t Want to Be a Memory,” “She’s a Miracle,” and “Give Me One More Chance.” Their unique sound which fuses the energy from rock and roll with the melodic blues of country music captivates audiences world wide.

It’s time to celebrate Helldorado Days in Las Vegas.  What began as a tool in 1935 to bring tourists to town following the completion of construction on Hoover Dam has evolved into a celebrated event that unites locals with community spirit and raises money for local charities.

Helldorado Parade 2011

The 2011 parade is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Downtown Las Vegas along Fourth Street from Gass Avenue to Ogden Avenue.  Thousands of people line the downtown parade route every year, and the parade is also broadcast live by Cox Communications on cable channel 96 and streamed online at www.Cox96.net. KCLV Channel 2 will re-broadcast the parade in the following days. A fireworks show will be launched from the Fremont Street Experience parking garage immediately after the parade.  The best location to view the fireworks is the Fremont East Entertainment District, which is on Fremont Street between Las Vegas Boulevard and Eighth Street.

Join the Madness of March as Fremont Street Experience celebrates college basketball.  Sports fans are invited to take part in the month-long event, March Hoops, now through Wednesday, March 30.

March Hoops at Fremont Street Experience features free entertainment every night with two sexy stage shows — Hardwood Hotties and Dream Team Divas by Face Productions — and the High Hoops Zone interactive area where guests can test their skills at 20-, 25- and 30-foot basketball hoops.  Debuting March 15 will be the world’s largest NCAA bracket on the 1,500-foot long Viva Vision screen, which will be updated daily throughout the NCAA tournament.

Harwood Hotties is a high-energy show featuring dancers, singers and a silk act.  Songs from AC-DC’s “Shook Me All Night Long” to Katy Perry’s “Firework” will surely get the crowd going. Dream Team Divas opens with the quintessential sports song “Lets Get Ready to Rumble” and then the singing and dance troupe will play some of a today’s top hits like Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” and Beyonce’s “Put a Ring on It” mixed with sports songs like Lil Bow Wow’s “Basketball” and “Na NA NA NA” (Hey Hey Good Bye.)  The entertainment schedule is as follows:
