The City of Henderson Cultural Arts & Tourism Department hosts free performances each Thursday evening at 8 pm at the Henderson Events Plaza Amphitheater. The performances are part of the city’s Thursday Night Live! cultural arts series, which showcases local and emerging talent in an informal setting that is accessible to people of all ages.
Performing this week, May 8th at 8 pm, is the Calvin Brooks and Jeff Popp duo. Explore the sounds of Motown, jazz and pop standards with their extraordinary command of smooth vocals, guitar and piano.
It’s a casual evening of relaxation and enjoyment suited for the entire family. Don’t cook dinner, stop by one of the Water Street District’s great eateries for dinner or just bring a picnic dinner and then stay for Thursday Night Live! Blankets, and personal coolers are permitted. Glass containers are prohibited.
Admission is FREE.
This is a great way to kick off the weekend.
