Autumn Arrives at Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens welcomes fall with a picturesque harvest tableau celebrating the bellagio-conservatory-fall-2009-friendly-tree.JPGsights and colors of the season. Accented with gold, scarlet and amber hues, the autumnal display will feature a towering 35-foot-tall cider mill powered by a gentle stream.  Just steps away, a 10-foot-tall Ent, a mythical tree made of recycled paper and wood, will be found atop a bed of colossal pumpkins.  The mystical creature  Nearby, a babbling brook will lead the eye to a covered wooden bridge surrounded by ornamental grasses, stately trees and vivid fall blooms.  An oversized, 13-foot-tall scarecrow will complete the fall display by watching over the season’s bountiful harvest and welcomes guests with a sweet smile, gentle eyes and wild botanical ‘hair.’Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is free to the public.  The autumn exhibit will be on display through November 28th.bellagio-conservatory-fall-2009-scarecrow.JPG
