A husband and wife’s infidelity spins out of control when they try to accuse a mousy couple at work of having marital troubles. Unwittingly involved in a web of marital lies, all three couples descend into madness, mistakes, and mayhem.

Fireworks on the Las Vegas Strip - This year’s Las Vegas Strip fireworks show theme is “Takin’ It to the Streets” and is over 8 minutes long. The soundtrack, which will be carried on two radio stations (KOMP 92.3 FM and KXPT 97.1 FM), includes “Takin’ it to the Streets” by the Doobie Brothers, the Mick Jagger and David Bowie version of “Dancing in the Street,” and “We Like to Party” by the Venga Boys. Fireworks will be launched from the Mandalay Bay convention center lot, the Luxor’s parking lot, the parking garages at the MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, the Stratosphere and Treasure Island, and the Gold parking lot at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 250,000 people are expected on the Strip to view the display. Keeping Safe on New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve on the Las Vegas Strip means crowds! Packed across the strip like sardines type crowds. While you are enjoying yourself and ringing in the New Year, be sure to keep your wits about you as you navigate the massive crowd.
You may not know this, but the Strip hotels close their doors to those not staying on property, so be sure to have a plan in advance if you have a specific place you want to go. If you park in a hotel parking structure at a property in which you are not staying, you will most likely not be able to enter through the hotel until sometime well after 1am to access the parking garage.
To see the fireworks, you’ll want to be out of the hotel by 11 pm, because the huge crush of revelers will be crowding the elevators and every crevice of the property. Be sure to keep close attention to your purse or wallet - better yet - take only what’s absolutely necessary.

Free 24 Hour Bus Service Over New Year’s

The Regional Transportation Commission has announced free bus service in the Las Vegas Valley for 24 hours starting the evening of New Year’s Eve.
The free rides will run on all RTC buses starting at 6 pm on New Year’s Eve until 6 pm on New Year’s Day.
The RTC advises those who use the free service that many transit routes on and around the Las Vegas Strip, including the Deuce double-deck service, will be detoured on New Year’s Eve due to anticipated road closures.
The Deuce on the Strip will not operate from as early as 5 pm on New Year’s Eve and will resume service when the Strip reopens.

Neon Museum Boneyard Tours This Saturday

The Neon Museum Boneyard will be open to the public from 11 am to 3 pm - Saturday, December 27th. Museum staff and volunteers will be giving guided tours of the Boneyard at 12, 1, 2 and 3 pm. Please Note: THE MUSEUM GATES WILL BE LOCKED PROMPTLY AT 3PM!
All tour rules and regulations apply.
The collection of non-restored historic signs are kept outdoors on a 3 acre site in Las Vegas. The signs have been donated or loaned by individuals, businesses and sign companies.
Admission is $5 per person. No reservations are required to attend this event. Photography welcomed for personal use.
I went on this tour last December and found it very interesting. I learned a lot about the history of many hotels that have come and gone.
When you are finished with the Boneyard Tour, you may want to check out more refurbished signs downtown. These refurbished signs are available for viewing 24 hours a day 7 days a week, but, of course, are best viewed after dark.
The first group of signs can be found near the intersection of Fremont Street Experience and Las Vegas Boulevard and consist of:
- The Horse and Rider from the old Hacienda Hotel (Las Vegas Blvd & Fremont St )
- Aladdin’s Lamp from the old Aladdin Hotel (northwest corner of Fremont St & Las Vegas Blvd)
- The Flame Restaurant sign (southwest corner of Fremont St & Las Vegas Blvd)
- Chief Hotel Court sign (northeast corner of Fremont St& 4th St)
- Andy Anderson sign -the Anderson Dairy mascot (southeast corner of Fremont St & 4th St)
The rest are displayed on the 3rd Street cul-de-sac adjacent to The Fremont Street Experience canopy.
